The German band OOMPH! played their first ever show in Russia on June 3, 2010 at the B1 Maximum club in Moscow. Muscovites got a chance to see live one of the most energizing acts of Europe.
In the beginning of 2010 OOMPH! released their 11th album «Truth or Dare» that is a collection of band’s hit songs translated from German into English. In a week after the release the album became a top-seller in Germany and embarked on conquering international markets. With this album OOMPH! came to Russia. Euro Entertainment was the local promoter of the Moscow event.
Hailed as pioneers of the German “tanz metal” (dance metal) scene and heavily influencing late-’90s acts like Rammstein, OOMPH! were arguably one of the most controversial, influential, and popular German goth-industrial bands to emerge in the early ’90s.
